Your First Orthodontic Visit at Advanced Orthodontics

We’re excited to welcome you to Advanced Orthodontics! When you arrive for your first appointment, our treatment coordinator will greet you with a warm smile and guide you through the process. This initial visit typically lasts about an hour and is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of your orthodontic needs and treatment options.

During your first visit, we’ll:

  • Take photographs, x-rays, and a 3D scan of your teeth and jaw.
  • Conduct a thorough orthodontic examination with Dr. Barton Soper.
  • Discuss your treatment goals and present personalized treatment options.

The purpose of this visit is to answer important questions, such as:

  • What concerns do you or your dentist have?
  • When should treatment begin?
  • What type of treatment is best for you or your child?
  • How long will treatment take?
  • What are the costs involved?

Insurance and Affordable Orthodontic Treatments Plans

We are dedicated to making orthodontic care accessible and affordable for everyone. Our practice accepts the assignment of benefits from most insurance plans, significantly lowering your out-of-pocket costs. If we don’t accept direct assignments from your plan, we’re happy to file claims on your behalf so you can be reimbursed directly.

If your policy changes during treatment, please notify us immediately so we can adjust your contract accordingly.

What Does My Investment Include?

Your orthodontic investment includes:

  • Orthodontic records such as x-rays, study models, and a personalized growth study workup.
  • Active treatment with braces or Invisalign, covering all appliances, office visits, and in-office procedures. Our durable appliances are designed to last throughout treatment when used as directed. Replacement fees may apply for lost or damaged appliances.
  • One set of final retainers for Phase II patients upon completing treatment. Replacement fees may apply for additional retainers.

What Isn’t Included?

  • Work performed by other dental offices.
  • Missed or broken appointments, after-hours emergency appointments, or supplementary scans.
  • Additional treatment outside the original plan due to accidents, injuries, or complications such as TMJ issues or the need for orthognathic surgery.

We know life gets busy, so we offer flexible hours to accommodate your schedule:

  • Monday – Thursday: 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM
  • Friday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
